"How should I prepare for my hair appointment?"
Please arrive with your hair clean, dry, down, detangled and light styling products.

"What if I use products with Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Caster Oil,
Olive Oil in my hair?"
We recommend not using these products in your hair and detoxing your hair with a clarifying shampoo before your appointment.

"What can I expect at my Curly Haircut experience at Studio Within?"
Your stylist will have a full consultation with you before starting. You will receive a dry curly haircut, wash and conditioning, personalized step-by-step tutorial on how to style your curls, drying time, and a refined cut at the end if needed.

"I have heard of many different hair cutting techniques for curls, how do I know which is right for me?"
During your consultation with your hairstylist; they will decide based on your curl type, routine, product choices, and desired outcome which technique would be best suited for you specifically.

"What is a specialty curly cut?"
Curly haircuts are performed on dry hair. The reason for this is so we can see the natural curl pattern and adjust the cut accordingly for a better outcome.

"I am looking for someone who specializes in curls, who do you recommend?"
Everyone at Studio Within Salon and Spa has been specially trained in cutting curly hair, we have different levels of stylists that reflects on how much education that stylist has taken. The higher the level the more experience they have.
